Seeking a Grill Cook to join our dynamic team under the mentorship of our Executive Chef. Your culinary expertise will shine as you prepare exceptional dishes for our restaurant and banquet guests. Working alongside our kitchen team, you will uphold high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and efficient food preparation.



Duties:



--- Perfecting Your Skills: Consistently create high-quality dishes to ensure guest satisfaction
--- Encouraging Collaboration: Promote teamwork and accuracy in food preparation
--- Ensuring Cleanliness: Maintain organized and sanitized work areas for a safe kitchen environment
--- Prioritizing Safety: Follow safety protocols diligently and address any issues promptly

--- A generous sign-on bonus awaits, part of which will be included in your first paycheck, with the remainder granted upon successfully completing 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities:
--- Prepare and cook menu items according to the standards established by Woodcliff Hotel & Spa in Fairport, NY.
--- Ensure that all food aligns with company quality and presentation guidelines.
--- Adhere to food safety regulations and uphold a clean work area consistently.
--- Assist in maintaining inventory levels through participation in ordering and organizing supplies.
--- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to efficiently address customer needs.
--- Looking for an experienced cook to work the most difficult station.

Qualifications:
--- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in cooking within a hotel kitchen or similar environment, including banquet, fine dining, and line cooking.
--- Preferably possess culinary training from a college.
--- Proficient in safely and efficiently operating various kitchen equipment.
--- Capable of performing medium work, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds and frequently or constantly lifting up to 20 pounds, with the ability to move objects.
--- Able to stand for extended periods without sitting or leaning.
--- Flexible to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body and arms, work under varying temperatures and noise levels, and have near vision.
--- Quick and agile in responding to urgent situations, willing to work long hours, and skilled in multitasking.
--- Strong communication skills in English to effectively convey and understand information and ideas.
--- Available for both AM and PM shifts.
