LPN Responsibilities

Provide practical nursing care to individuals with mental or physical injuries, illnesses, or developmental disabilities
Implement nursing care plans, administer and document medications/treatments as prescribed
Monitor and report changes in patient condition and behavior
Record vital signs, collect specimens, and maintain documentation and reports
Support daily living and recreational activities as part of the treatment plan
Oversee unlicensed personnel and manage a designated care area
Perform all duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician

LPN Requirements

Current Pennsylvania LPN license or eligibility to sit for the Practical Nurse Licensure Exam
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to enter data into electronic medical records
High School Diploma or GED
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

LPN Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in behavioral health, long-term care, or similar settings
